I've been downloading for at least 15 years but suddenly have a problem. Connect my Android phone to my PC using usb and select File transfer. This shows Internal Storage-Android-Media and I cannot get to Android-Data-LK8000 to find the flight files.
Any ideas please about what may have gone wrong.

I now find others here have also met this problem. This seems to be the same problem noted last December, so why it still worked for me up to end of May I don't know.I've tried the Files (which I already had) solution but cannot make it work with usb, but can make it work with wireless transfer, but it is a pain compared with usb copy and paste.
I hope we can come up with a better solution.

Accessing the 'Data' folder using a file manager (wireless)
https://com-marc-files.en.uptodown.com/android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cxinventor.file.explorer

Accessing the 'Data' folder using a USB cable
1. After connecting the USB cable, you will receive a notification on your phone that the connection is only being used for charging (option 5).
2. You can also choose to transfer files (option 1).
3. Confirm your choice and the 'Data' folder will be accessible again for transferring files.

Files are stored in: Internal Storage/Android/Data/
- org.lk8000.test/Files (beta version)
- org.lk8000.beta/Files (stable version)

That doesn't work for me or for a friend. I'm fully aware of the need to select Files Transfer but all that gives is Moto g32/Internal Storage/Android/Media, no way can get to Data. However I have a very old W10 laptop and that connects to Data/LK8000 just as my current W11 PC used to till a couple of weeks ago.

I cannot explain this but yesterday the above problem disappeared and it is working correctly again. I noticed on the left hand side of t he PC screen where the folder trees appear that when my phone was connected it appeared at the top, but using that just led to the problem finishing with Media. However below that amongst all the other drives on my PC was the phone again. Using this shortcut it all worked as it has for years allowing usb file transfer both ways. This shortcut did not appear when the problem started, and as far as I know I have done nothing except keep trying.
The difference seems to be that the failing shortcut leads to Internal Storage, but the working shortcut leads to Internal Shared Storage.
