If I press the marker to store a position it does not result in a usable location in the com -list. The name is MK without time info and the distance is about 5000km.

surprising, i use it every day i fly !!

what version ? what platform ?

In "_Waypoints" folder, you should find a cup files named LKXXXXX.cup, can you send it to me ?

maybe a screen shot or short video capture can help too ...

I just tried it in simulation mode. It is the same while flying.

Supplement: Same with the internal GPS of the mobile fon.
