I have installed new version 7.2 LK8000 on Kobo Aura Edition 2 H2O, the software is working but the display is reversed, the touchscreen is correct. Is it possible to change anything to rotate the view? Can someone help me? The 6.8 inch display of this Kobo is really beautiful. Thanks. |

but kobo Aura H2O don't have removable internal sdcard, so this model is not officialy supported...
in theory, if same as others models, screen is rotate by writing "0, 1, 2 ot 3 to /sys/class/graphics/fb0/rotate.

I used both windows and ubuntu shell but I can't find the indicated file. Can you help me to understand which is the complete path and where to find the "rotate" file? |

Bruno, I found "rotate" in these paths:
1. bin\PowerOff\.rodata 2. bin\LK8000-KOBO\.rodata
I tried to modify with a hex editor only the first one because only in this one after the string I see a number (2), I tried to modify it with 0 or 1 or 3 but the display does not rotate. Is what I did right? Can you give me more info? Thanks. |

you need to have shell on device through telnet to experiment.
in all case, because too much risk to brick the device: - Aura H2O will never be officially supported - to eventaully fix solve the probleme, you will need to modify source code and rebuild version yourself.
