I'm doing some historic research on the last wooden gliders. acc to the manufacturers serial nr list ,there should be 2 SHK-1's in Italy. Namely I-LARY and I-LJET , nr 59 and 56 of the prod list.
1) Do they still exist? are they still in Italy? 2) are there any photo pics/stills
Contact Giorgio Maestri at AVL gliding club (www.avl.it)I don't know the registration but for sure he has "inherited" an SHK that was flying in Calcinate
I-CIAU is destroied. I-LJET is still flying after a very good restoration. I don't know the destiny of the other SHK.
I have got a reply from Giorgio ,he told me that he was restoring I-LARY and that he is planning to fly with "her" next year. Sofar i have not received any Photo pictures.
I just acquired an SHK-1 and I am looking for some parts. What is the status of the one that was I-CIAU destroyed? Would it be possible to possibly buy some of the parts off of it?
