HI all,
The Post Frontal server will definitely stop later this summer, even if it's bad news for me, i would like to thanks Guiliano Golfieri for the very long partnership between PostFrontal and LK8000 !
So, we need to move the forum to another platform, that can be a huge work, any help is welcome...

two options : - we found a windows server : we can just move forum to this server (after removing reference to 'Postfrontal SAS'... - we don't found a windows server : we need to convert database to other forum platform
currently : forum is a old school "snitz forum", a ASP Classic website and Access database ( https://forum.snitz.com/ )

The old snitz forum could be statically exported as HTML pages and frozen (I can help with this). This way you can put it anywhere.
IMHO the new one should be powered by a modern forum software, not necessarily capable of importing from snitz.
For hosting, you can get a rather powerful server for free here: https://www.oracle.com/cloud/free/

Bruno,
have you considered adding https://www.buymeacoffee.com/ to the website - easy way to get donations...perhaps suggest a few euros for a download... |

porting the old discussions to a modern system would be nice for the forum users, but I wouldn't spend too much effort if it's not possible easily. Static pages with the old threads would be o.k. for me.
I agree with bruno that it might just create a new dependency to use github discussions. |

When I do a search for Open Source Forum software I get tens of links to tens of open source forum software applications.. there must be something usable for us...Our forum is not really complicated or fancy with special features or something. I think if you can download the current forum in some generic format, you should be able to import it into something new.
