Hi. I suspect there is some issue with the transmission of the wind data via the Nano3 Driver, on different gliders having LxNav S10 or SxHawk and LK8000 7.4.5. Here you can see a short video showing the phenomena. https://photos.app.goo.gl/iwWwGEkAYZtSaZtm9

Hi brunotl, no I don't sorry. I'll try to make it next time. Being not confident with the NMEA log let me ask you about it. I suppose it is not the RUNTIME.log file, right? To make it I do have to start it from Config 2/3, NMEA LOG option, right? Where will the NMEA log file be stored?
Thanks. |

yes "Config 2/3" -> "NMEA Logger" while start log recording
log file was recorded in Logger folder (same as igc track ...) |

Just to let you know that it was recognized as an LxHawk firmware bug. One FW fix has been already provided but still something to solve. We are working on it.
Thanks. |

Dear Brunotl, LxNav has provided a SW patch to the firmware. I have wind indication in LK8000 now, but it is wrong. I sent you new NMEA logs via email. Please be so kind to have a look.
Many thanks. |

Hi Brunotl, Link to the shared Drive folder has been sent again.
Please note that:"...the dataport does not contain "HAWK wind" data. HAWK wind is an LXNAV proprietary feature and is not shared with third-party devices. However, all the raw data used for HAWK calculations is available in the dataport, allowing third-party software to utilize this data for their own calculations."
Thanks |
