Hi,
I had created a 30m definition file and it's not recognized anymore. (TERRAIN? is shown on the screen).

It worked well last summer.

Any reason why?

check the runtime.log ...

most of the time it's caused by "truncated" files ...

Thanks for your help. What do you mean by truncated? Here is what I found in the runtime.log

Truncated = only a part of the file

reading you log your terrain file size should be 233323250 Byte ( 222 MByte) ...

Yes the file is 222 MB in the app folder. It doesn't work anymore on my friend's android app either

size of your file is "233 301 648 Bytes" but should be "233 323 250 Bytes" so "21 602 Bytes" are missing. it's exactly the size of one row, so it's not an accident...

how do you have made this file ?

Using QGIS using data from SRTM.

What's intriguing is that I've sent you the file that used to work, from my computer. My friend using it has the same problem and we haven't interacted since it was working.

I guess I'll have to generate it again to troubleshoot

before version 7.3.10, file size was not checked, and it was the cause of lot of crash...
