 kobo frozen display when shutdown		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

Hallo, i have a kobo glo with GPS on serial port. Sometimes when shutting down the kobo stops and display is frozen. Power 3V3 at serial port stays high. I only can completely shut down when i press long time the on/off button. Then the kobo starts in eReader mode. Turning off/on again kobo boots in lk8000 and all is good. that happens maybe every 10th time. here i have the logfile where the error occurs:

what GPS is Connected, ? i see GXAircom in your log ...
what is your comPort config exactly ?

can you test the last beta ?

PS : don't forget to do a backup of your LK8000 folder before...

Hardware is GXAircom on a ESP32 Lora System
GPS GTOP Ladybird Pa6h

Kobo is Kobo mini

i have another Hardware with Kobo Glo, GXAircom, TTGO T-Beam V1.1 ESP32 Lora and GPS NEO 6M
Connected to serial port on kobo and V7.3.2
And there i have the same behavior

Both Systems work very nice, shutdown is the only problem sometimes.

can you look the if you have crash dump in folder "LK8000/kobo/crash" ? if yes send it to me please ...

for me it seems when there is another Fanet device received then crash is more likely ?
