Thanks for this wonderful update Alphalima..Much appreciated you continue to develop LK8000 even after so many years, I still do not find the need to get an expensive LX9000 or something :-)
I have been playing with LK8000 7.2 today and to me the configuration of the Nano 3 driver looks very useful, but not completely clear to me. In general The IN and OUT is seen from LK8000 perspective, right?, so OUT means from LK8000 to, in my case, the S80?
I find the S80 kinda slow to switch from thermalling mode to cruise mode, I do not have a STF switch on my stick. so this could be usefull to force it into cruise via LK8000 by setting STF to OUT... would this work?
Also the QNH set to OUT seems useful as LK8000 calculates this automatically, same for ballast, which I set in LK8000 main setup.
I also like the automatic radio setting to best alternate airport and the addition of multiple frequencies for bigger airports. I have enabled it to set the armed frequency, so when needed, 1 push of the button on the radio itself will switch to the airport frequency, to announce my presence and ask for landing information.
Thanks again, time to get the glider ready for the 2022 flying season!

- OFF : no data exchange with this data (ignore data) - IN : only reading of this data from external device - OUT : only sending this data to external device - IN&OUT : exchange data from/to device in both directions (e.g. MC, Radio frequencies)

should work with "LX_EOS_ERA" driver, but i don't know if S80 work with this driver, you can try...

Hi, with this latest release I seem to be having trouble inputting radio frequencies. My local airfield is 118.685, it won't accept this, it will accept 118.681. Another one is 122.455, it will accept 122.451. Any ideas? |
