As we know the normal clock dial warning display on Flarm, does not display the true relative position of a threat, if there is any significant wind. In the extreme case, flying in a very strong headwind, and moving backwards over the ground, a threat from a faster flying glider behind, will actually appear as though it was in front.
On the LK8000 radar screen, and other similar devices, does other traffic appear in it's true relative position, and what does the direction of the small arrows indicate?
I have assumed that the relative position is correct, as it is displaying a gps position, but not sure about the direction the small arrows are pointing. If it is pointing straight at you, will you meet, wherever the wind is?

Dave, that is a question for FLARM, the FLARM radar displays the traffic as it is comming from Flarm, without any wind recalculation. But I doubt Flarm is taking wind into account.

Yes Ulli, I know Flarm does not take wind into account, but what does LK8000 do with the information from Flarm?
LK8000 obviously gets positions of Flarm broadcasting aircraft, and displays that position on the Radar screen by means of arrow heads. How does LK8000 decide where to point them? Does it just take it from a Flarm gps sentence, or does it calculate a track from successive points?

Flarm traffic include the track information (and even turnrate) as well.
