What is the meaning of the blue arrow that appears from time to time?

I saw this arrow recently and I was also wondering its meaning. I've looked through user manuals (3->6) but I couldn't find an explanation.

It is the required heading to follow the track to the seöected target. It becomes more obvious the more wind you have.
