Hi all,

Are you sure it does not work? I have a S80, and when I declare a task from LK8000 via Bt, the S80 receives the task, BUT the S80 attempts to send the task to the PowerMouse, but that fails of course, because the PowerMouse is not IGC certified. the S80 then gives all kinds of error messages, but the task is present in the S80.
You need an IGC certified device (Flarm or Logger) to be able to declare tasks in such device, if not that will not work, hence the 'Device is not responsive' error message.
Third possibility is that a FLARM Display is interfering with the communication. I have solved it by cutting the RX wire in the data cable from the Flarm to the display, so the display cannot send data back to the flarm. Some pilots have build in a switch to temporarily disconnect the display unit from the Flarm. |

Ok, thanks, I will try the Beta as well, as I am not 100% sure about my argument that a FLARM needs to be IGC certified. Will let you know if it works or not. My S80 is also not IGC certified, but does accept a task declaration, it only fails to send it to the PowerMouse. |
