About 18 months ago I raised a point about the need to do a quick "double tap" on my touch screen laptop to select some things in LK8000.

That thread is here:- https://www.postfrontal.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9089

Note that mouse clicks are all correct. It is only touch screen selections that have issues. I have experienced this over multiple Windows 10 devices, and all show the same effects.

I have made a further observations that may help find out what is causing this issue:-
  • Interestingly, the very first "entry" screen requires only a single tap to select Profile/Exit/Fly/Sim.
  • Then the "Click on centre screen to being" requires a double tap to continue.
  • ANYTHING on the main screen ONLY requires a double tap.
  • Once into the menu system, EVERYTHING just requires a single tap.

So to my twisted mind, there must be something that is requiring double taps ONLY on the main screen. What that might be I have no idea, I'm afraid.

Hopefully this information might point to something simple in the main screen implementation that may point to a solution.

Cheers
