Hello,
first of all, great I love the LK8000.
The kobo approach gives not enough flexibillity in terms of hardware. I plan an epaper graphic integration based on a raspi. I'd like to run LK8000 not via openGL on raspi, further more on a epaper device. There are a lot of pitfalls, from suitable hardware over software integration.
I'd like to know if the LK8000 graphics layer is changeable in this way, or does it need dedicated graphics system like GDL/EGL/ kobo (i don't know)?
Thank you in advance
Best regards Ronny |

Hi,
platform is a raspberry zero. The epaper device is not figured out yet, for the moment I wanted to start with waveshare epaper (not 100% sure if it is fast enough). Does the graphics layer needs a framebuffer device? Is LK8000 need to draw imahes, for maps or is all drawed by primitives? |

we need linux kernel with framebuffer or OpenGL, if you look around KOBO define, i think you will see all you need |
