Help, I need some help!
Kobo Aura One, LK8000, BlueFlyVario v12. This used to work fine. I installed LK8000 7.1 and now I get:
GPS:No ComPort, plus Unable to open ports.
When I go to Device setup and Terminal, I get Terminal Device A (DISABLED) and (Rx=0, Tx=0 ErrRx=0 ErrTx=0) NO DATA RECEIVED
Device A has Name: BlueFlyVario and Baud rate 115200
I reinstalled LK8000 7.0, no difference. I reinstalled older version of Kobo firmware, no difference.
What is going on??
Any ideas???
Thanks, Robert |

Thank you Brunetti and sorry for the late reaction! I tried all ports, non worked. Neither with 7.0 nor 7.1
Meanwhile, I got it working and I think the "solution" is something for the LK8000 development team to look into.
Fortunately, I had saved the _Configuration file from the working 7.0 version I used until a few weeks ago. I copied that _Configuration into the .Kobo file, replacing the one that was there, from 7.1 on my Kobo, and it worked.
Restoring factory settings on my Kobo and subsequently installing either 7.0 from the LK8000 site, or 7.1 from Git, did not do it. I could not get it to cummunicate with BlueFlyVario V1.2.
I do not know why, but it seems worth finding out for future users!

compare the 2 configuration using tools like "WinMerge"...
i have upgraded all officialy supported kobo model from 7.0 to 7.1 without any issue (kobo Aura one is not officialy supported, but reported working without any issues by few end user ...)
