I want to thank LK8000 developers for the new translation system! Now it's much easier to translate and fix older translations issues. I am now reviewing the Portuguese (Portugal) translation and I hope to start what is missing in a near future.

BUT in some cases it is difficult to translate, e.g. a single letter without surrounding content. How to solve this? |

by adding screenshot or comments or context descriptions to source strings ...
we can do it on request or each translator can do it to help others ;-)

Context descriptions of source strings would be optimal, especially if the content of the string is minimal. |

Is
"[deprecated]"
to be translated or serves it as a codeword? |

"[deprecated]" is codeword for old and unused string -> no need to translate ...
"_@M001236_" to "_@M001239_" : unused (need to be marked [deprecated])
"_@M002252_" must be consistent with "_@H001263_" ( same for _@M002253_ and "_@M002254_) |

Is it possible to add a button "Help translating LK" on LK8000 for Android?
Most of the menu strings are translated or reviewed for Portuguese (Portugal) |

@Bruno
in your consistency examples the sources differ (at least at the translation website) |

I notice that some translations didn't match, so I reviewed all strings already translated.

Bruno, Is any option to ignore [deprecated] strings? I have to go through a lot of them until find some string that really needs translation. |

solved by adding "read-only" flag to the source string... |

Hello there. I decided to start helping on the translation of LK8000 to spanish, but I have found some issues when trying to translate some concepts that seems to be misleading on english, so probably there is a need of reviewing the "master language" so we can translate correctly.
Or maybe I´m just wrong in my understanding and english is just fine.
For example, I´m translationg this simple one:
[Home Altitude Arrival] Arrival altitude at the Home airfield. Calculated for current MC, uses safetyAlt.
So my main concern is that as I understand and have seen on the operation of LK, the HOME ALTITUDE ARRIVAL should be actually HOME HEIGHT ARRIVAL, as "Altitude" is a concept related to MSL and "Height" is above ground, and as I recall, we are seeing actually the height on this field instead than the Altitude.
So I don´t want to mess up the translation. Is english right? or does it need some polishing?
In spanish I would go for "Altitude = Altitud" and "Height = Altura".
Any ideas?

Meanwhile I went for:
[Altura a Casa] Altura de llegada a Casa. Se calcula para el MC actual, y considera la altura de seguridad |
