In the airspace filter, the category GldSect still needs to be changed into GSEC. The current entry GldSect is displayed as category G.

Already tested it again, all working fine with the AIP Files.
For open airspace file format there is no "glider sector" nor GSEC airspace defined.

When I view the INFO pages (info 3/6 version 7.0 changes from 6.0), I read the following:

AIRSPACE Class Glider Sector "GldSec" added (GSEC open airspace, GLIDING OpenAIP).

Does this change have to be implemented or has it already been deleted?

right, it is already implemented and it works in 7.1f (possible class specifiers are "AC GSEC" and "AC GLIDING":
https://github.com/LK8000/LK8000/blob/bfd0e375e7f66f75346a20dbaf47885ec43f31f6/Common/Source/Airspace/LKAirspace.cpp#L2182
already tested it again with the 7.1f PC version!
What I'm saying is, there is no known open airspace definition nor official open aispace file with this classes.
So it is a kind of homebrew Glidersector definition for open airspace files in LK8000.

This example worked for me as in the picture linked below:

AC GSEC
AN Dortmund Nord-CTR 125.225
*AG LANGEN Radar

AL 3500ft MSL

Due to the lack of Glider sector definition in open airspace format, Glider Sectors are usualy defined as wave sectors "AC W".
So for LK8000 you can now

search and replace
AC W
by
AC GSEC

in the open airspace file.
Did that for the german open airspace file, available also via LKMaps
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AlphaLima/LK8000_Data/master/_Airspaces/Europe/Airspace_Germany_week13_2018_V2_ohneFIS.txt

But caution in other countries (e.g. UK) a wave sector has a complete different relevance and AC GSEC is not specified by any definiton or standard.

Thanks for the explanation.
But what I mean is that the name GldSect (in the Filter) should be renamed GSEC.
I tried to use GldSect as AC while it had to be GSEC.
The name in the Filter causes confusion.

this was described and you quoted it.

GldSect is much more self explaining than GSEC!

We also use
"Wave" instead of "W"
"Class E" instad of "E" ...

and that is exactly what I was afraid of!
It was not defined before, so we can start discussing the nomenclature.
