I have added some more source versions in LKSOURCES. But I doubt anyone will ever care to look at those intermediates unless we all discover some old bug we cannot solve, and it is not the case with 1.22.

Sorry Paolo but when I visited the website I couldn't see the file.
Today is a special day for all LK8000 users.

For all of us. I'm happy to have done it, although the code was not yet ready for it.

I have imported all source tarballs into my git repository:
http://git.snow-crash.org/?p=xcsoar.git;a=shortlog;h=lk8000
To clone my repository and check out the LK8000 sources, type:
git clone git://git.snow-crash.org/xcsoar.git
cd xcsoar
git checkout lk8000
It turns out that LK8000 is not based on XCSoar 5.2.4 (like Paolo said several times), but was forked at some point shortly after 5.2.3. Important 5.2.4 patches are missing, but these fixed may have been reimplemented by Paolo meanwhile, which I did not check.
XCSoar 5.2.4 contains a dozen of patches which were written by me, but these changes are not present in LK8000. Which means I am indeed not a copyright holder of LK8000. My copyright claims were based on Paolo's statement that he forked off 5.2.4, which is not true.
(Joyfully waiting for flames from the usual illiterates in this forum now, who fail to understand the above logic) |
