Stamattina non so perche' in moto mi e' venuto in mente di fare un po' di ricerche storiche sull'L5 Stinson.

Q. Are L-5's aerobatic?
A. L-5's are not on the FAA list of "approved" aerobatic aircraft, but they are capable of all maneuvers except outside loops and inverted spins. They are stressed for +10.2 and -4.3 g's, but they do not have inverted fuel or oil systems so cannot fly upside-down for long. Due to their age however, "stunts" are not recommended unless the wooden wings and empennage are completely rebuilt and all critical fittings and hardware have been x-rayed or magnafluxed for cracks. There is no limit to the life of a well-maintained wooden aircraft structure, but glue joints can weaken over time. |

Non é approvato ma puó farlo?
Puó volare rovescio ma il motore non ce la fa? E chi ha certificato che puó volare rovescio senza rompersi o danni se il motore non ce la fa? Lo hanno lanciato con l´elastico?
They are stressed significa che quello é il punto in cui l´ala salta, ovvero si rompe o peggio per davvero?
E chi ha dciso che non sono raccomandate? O si puó o non si puó.

Vabbe' era solo per fare un po' di umorismo echo echo.
Fosse anche falsa mi ha solo fatto sorridere. Nessuno farebbe acrobazia con quel coso (credo)...
... pensandoci bene ne avevamo uno che ne sarebbe stato anche capace...
