One that could be comfortably hand held or attached to the stick.
I mean any of these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004536532401.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004828871010.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001757208828.html

Posted - 14/12/2022 : 19:22:52 Those won't work. The first is supporting media keys wich have no effect rather than maybe starting your music player and adjust volume. Maybe the thir if the joystick sends arrow up and down, left and right, but it wont. Keyboard 1 2 or 3 in the settings only devides a keyboard in sectors wich then have specific functions. You can get more information on the website.if you chose XCRemote you will have direct support of the arrow keys, esc and enter.1-7 calls up the first 7 functions you have set in the User custom functions so this is fully configurable. M calls up the MCCREADY Menu where you can set MC via up and down arrow. Left right arrow switches pages in normal map, up and down zooms in/out. You can als swap suppages etc. Just connect a BT Keyboard and try out.....or buy a XCREMOTE...it can do all that stuff;-)

Posted - 09/12/2022 : 19:31:08 Support for these small BT keyboards was included with V5. No idea if they will still work, I couldn't get on with it, so haven't tried it for years, and as I remember, never in flight. I thibnk there are setup details on the LK website. |

Posted - 09/12/2022 : 18:38:52 I guess they are seen as keyboards, so I'm buying some and will test them using "qwerty kbrd" setting with a key mapper... I'll keep you updated. They could be an alternative to LK8000 remote for those who don't have their own glider to mount it on the stick.
It would be nice to be able to set the MacCready value using a keyboard, tough. Would it be possible to add something like "MacCready +0.1" and "MacCready -0.1" in the custom menu available actions? The existing "MacCready setting" action is not usable with a keyboard (it opens a dialog box but you need a touchscreen to use it).
