Hi,
thanks for the option to load more than two waypoint and airspace files in 7.1!
As far as I see, the additional files are not cleared when I load an old configuration (profile) only containing two entries, written by an older version of LK8000.
Consider a profile file old.prf with entries foo.cup and bar.cup, written by an older version of LK8000.
In a different profile, I configure a third WP file baz.cup. When I load old.prf, baz.cup is still listed.
LK8000 should delete WP and airspace entries 3..9 when loading an old .prf file.

So you either stick on your old big file or
you combine the files of the different countries.
If you do booth you get doublets!
The new concept of 9 files is intended to prevent manually merging different files which also has a advantage if the data of only one country is updated. |

Would the terrain filter avoid duplicate waypoints?
I have an old profile working with a large combined cup file containing waypoints from several countries around the Alps for gliding.
Then I set up a new profile with many separate waypoint files for TMG.
When I switch back to the old profile, I get duplicate entries.
If I had saved my old profile with 7.1, this wouldn't happen.
No problem for me. I just wanted to bring it to your attention. |

No, we prefer it this way! New feature settings should not be lost because of loading an old profile.
Are you aware of the terrain filter? So practically it is not a problem anyway.
