Posted - 19/07/2025 : 19:50:29 Hey! I am using the LK 8000 Beta! Just yesterday i found out that i no longer can get OLC information. I have a bottombar in AUX to show all OLC data. I have marked ON in menu 22 contest -OLC on.
As it is for now i cannot see any OLC data in the bottombar. And i cant see OLC distance in the logbook under details. I used to be able to see that. Another issue is: When i have landed after a task i usually just EXIT out of LK 8000. Is there a method to stop more correct?
Can anyone in the forum help?

Posted - 31/07/2025 : 22:29:39 I think OLC calculation is turned off for your logbook, because was not working correctly anyways.. My experience with this is the values are allways off a few km compared to what OLC was showing Beside that, who is using OLC these days, most have turned to Weglide.
What I do is upload my flight to Weglide immediately after I landed and then I know the distance I have flown. One of the advantages of flying with your phone.
Wait for the airport dingdong indicating LK8000 has 'landed' and closed your flight, before turning off LK8000, takes a minute or so. This also makes sure the IGC file is valid. |
