Today I tried to compile the latest LK on my RPI4 and got an executable :-) , but calling it I got only a short message:

Warning: failed to set graphics mode on /dev/tty: Inappropriate ioctl for device * failed to add service already in use?

The log-file was not helpful at all

Environment was the latest Raspian and a Raspi4 (4G)

Compiled with: make TARGET=PI install

Any clue?

Closed X with init 3 but got the same reply from executable :-(

Compiled it again with "make install" and got a "LK8000-Linux" executable.

Tryed to call it ... same error message

if you build using TARGET=PI, you need to run binary outside X session

should run on X session if you build without specify TARGET
