Welcome to the PostFrontal WGC Rieti 2007 Condor Cup !
The WGC committee and PostFrontal are proud to announce the WGC Rieti 2007 PostFrontal Condor Cup, an on-site unofficial virtual event parallel to the official Junior WGC races that will be held in Rieti. Thanks to the state-of-the-art soaring simulator Condor and the photoreal Central Italy scenery authored by Bluangel56, virtual pilots are invited to join the race that will be held in the virtual Rieti skies during the same days of the competition, with the same tasks and similar meteo conditions.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: we are using the Standard Class tasks from real life JWGC, but any class can be used for the Condor Cup. Handicap list can be found here.
If a pilot decides to change the glider from one race to the other, the glider with the highest handicap will be used for scoring (our scoring system allows just for a single glider model for any pilot).
On-line races: Please refer to the this link for online race announcements (thanks to all friends hosting our races!)
Flights must be sent in e-mail for scoring (IGC+FTR files)
Last racing day will be august 10th, the virtual scoring will close on the 11th morning at 8 UTC, so please send all your flights before that time.
Final results published! Congratulations to all racers!!!
1 - Tony Heslegrave 2 -
Sean Churchill 3 - Tom Eagles
First three pilots, please send us your home address, we will send you a PostFrontal gadget prize! ;)
* NOTE: in day 9's task, turnpoint 59MONTEPULCIANO has been moved 32 km NE respect the real one for missing Condor scenery of such area. The total task distance remains the same of the real one: 232,6 km.
Rules and penalties will be applied with the same WGC official scoring procedure. All info can be found here.

To let the race direction check for flight parameters used you will have to save both the IGC and the FTR track from Condor and send them both to the official e-mail address for scoring and flight parameters checking.
