I have LK8000 3.0d installed on my Navigon 42 Easy. After about 3 minutes it shuts down and restarts until the initial screen (fly/profile/exit/simulate). After repeating this about two/three times a new message appears: no comm found.

Who can help me out?

Are you using a SD Card? If yes, it might be corrupted.

probably bnackground car navigation software is doing conflict. runtime will not help. you should check that no sofware is accessing the gps port while lk is running.

Coolwind,

How to prevent other software (e.g. carnavigation) to access com port? Do you think this is the solution to the problem?

yes I believe this is the problem, and you can solve it by disabling the car navigation in the startup sequence.
No idea how to do it on your device, I dont even know what it is.

My device is a Navigon 42 Easy. A fellow glider pilot has a Navigon 40 on which LK8000 works perfectly. We'll try to change the start-up sequence. If this works, I'll let you know. Thanks
