Now that LK8000 can handle bigger maps, is it possible to combine existing Terrain files?
For example: in the UK there are terrain and topolgy maps covering almost the whole country, the terrain being at 1000m. I prefer to use the 500m terrain, which uses 3 to cover the country, can these be put together? If so, can LK8000 handle that size (8518 KB, though there is a bit of overlap), or is it easier to produce a new terrain file?
Also am I correct in thinking that there is no difference in detail shown, between the various size LKM files? |
