Hello,
I've recently bought a Mio M400 to have LK8000 on it.
I unlocked the M400(using the software from the tutorial), installed LK8000, maps, airspaces, etc. I even bought a Condor cable to test. I did some flights on my PC using the Condor cable with no problem.
But when I use it in real life, in my glider, after 10-15 minutes(it's hard to tell exactly) it starts to get blocked from time to time. Initialy it works realy slow and after a while it blocks almose completly. I say "almost" because if I press on the screen I have to wait even 5 minutes to have the action done.
Once I managed to get to exit message box(the one with yes/no) and it took it like a minute only to paint the message box.
The igc is not logged corectly.
Do you have any idea what it could be? I will send the configuration file if it is necesary.
Thanks a lot!
Regards, Radu. |

Which version do you use? Are you using internal flash or microsd card? Maybe you have a defective card. |

Version: 3.0c and it is not an update, it is a new, fresh install.
The M400 doesn't have a card slot but it has "external memory"(1,9GBytes). And I'm using this since the internal memory is very small(64MBytes). |

The log cannot help. We need the full LK8000 folder of your Mio400, that you should zip and upload somewhere for us. Then we can try to reproduce the problem.

Ok the problem is in the device B , I suppose you are using GT Vario connected to it. There is a bug in 3.0c in the LK8EX1 driver . Please wait for 3.2 or use a 3.1 version, this problem is solved there already. Or, of course, do not connect the GT Vario using 3.0c.
Sorry I thought I had fixed it in 3.0 as well, but it seems I forgot to do it. |

| Yes I do... The GT Altimeter from GliderTools which is recognized and communicates with the LK8000 very well. |

Ok, then I'll try the 3.1 version. Thanks for clarifying this. I was about to put a hammer on the device. :)
One more little thing: if I stay with 3.0c version and just remove the altimeter do I have to change the device B to disable or to COM2(GPS port)?
I think I remember that I've read somewhere that if you don't have device B then you should have twice the GPS port? Is it correct?
Thanks a lot! |

| set it to DISABLED, it is simpler in the 3.0 version. |
