A friend has lent me a Kobo glo to play about with. It has XCSoar installed, and the gps/gofly modification, so is ready to go as stand alone running XCS. When powered up it opens XCS, and when connected to my computer it does not show up as a drive. I would like to add LK8000 (of course), so what do I have to do, for the computer to recognise it, so I can install LK |

I would like to know too! My Kobo has been fantastic this season; so good that I've put up with the installed XCSoar, but am itching to change - earmarked as a project for this winter. (A strange thing called EASA has kept me rather busy) Have you tried this web site; it's Nev, the guy I bought my Kobo from. http://gethighstayhigh.co.uk/

Did you tried installing "koko desktop" in your PC ? I think it will install all necessary drivers. Tony

no need to install "kobo desktop", that can't solve the problem.
i see 2 solution for solve this problem : 1 - factory reset. 2 - disable USB OTG in XCS and retart to nickel
if second don't work go to first ...
