No news for two weeks now.
Is there a new estimate for this release ?
Thanks.

For those who "can't wait", there is always the option of checking out the latest beta ;-) Im not a developer, but my guess is that it's very, very close to version 6.0 :-) |

Functionally I'm happy with the beta version I have. I'm just looking forward to having a device which will produce a valid IGC file, so I have a backup.
I'm only wondering if there is a serious delay. It was expected out 'this week' a few weeks ago now.
But I can wait :o)

I have been using betas lately, and in the paragliding world the IGCs are ok, validate by the FAI server. Could be different for glider pilots? |

Ah, but you don't enter flights in the UK XC League, do you ? They're a fussy lot ! |

No, but I think it should work. I use flightlog.org, there should be some similarities I think. Do use GPSDump and .kml files? The android version validates my IGCs by sending a request to the fai validation server. The desktop version should work, but there is a bug, or was so last time I checked. Or do you submit igc directly?
Sorry for off topic :-) |
