Hello, KOBO user/hacker here. Anyone know if its possible to run a .sh script only when NICKEL is started (to turn off external modules with commands to save battery)?
Right now I only know about possibility to run my scripts on KOBO start, placing them to X:\LK8000\kobo\ folder. But these are always.
I tested it on Kobo GLO. Anytime I use this script to access the /dev/ttymxc0 port to send a sleep command to bluefly vario or another insturment the kobo doesnt start the nickel and gets frozen. SDcard image must be rewritten to make it work again.
My script looks like: sleep 10 stty ospeed 19200 ispeed 19200 -F /dev/ttymxc0 stty -F /dev/ttymxc0 raw echo '$UNSLP*'>/dev/ttymxc0
Retested on Kobi mini. Still freezes even with new verion. When I try to run KOBO (NICKEL) mode, the screen stays white and green icon keeps blinking. But nickel doesnt start.
I tried this with xcsoar and same script works well...
Hello fellow, I am not c++ programmer, I am in the database sector. I have Kobo and blue fly vario. For now I am interested for that theme and I will be grateful if someone can write me. How I can with that script write new configuration for BlueFlyVario?
