Yesterday I was on a local 100km triangle. I have Equ Mc on LK8000, and intended to set 2 kts on the SN10, but finished up with 1.9kts, so left it at that, the knob is a bit of a stretch in the Discus. Mostly cruising between 70 and 80 kts to keep the Ilec needle where it should be, but Equ Mc was always much lower, I don't think I ever saw it above 1.4/1.5, and usually around 1.0. I have exactly the same polar co-ordinates in both, and which are both for 38kg/sq m. The SN10 of course has airspeed, LK8000 doesn't, could this account for the difference? |

Yes of course. Equ mc depends on ias. Did you notice wind speed in lk? |

Wind speed in LK is taken from the SN10, so they are both the same. It was usually around 11/12 kts. Great pity the SN10 does not output airspeed. |

Probably wing load was wrong in lk. Too high. |

No, same in both, it's high because it's a bT. I fly it at just over 400kg auw. |

Could it be a units conversion error? (knots versus Km or wingload Kg/sq m versus Lbs/Sq Ft??) either internal the SN10 or LK8000, just thinking.. been there, done that.. |

Worth checking the SN10 next time Marco, though 99.9% certain it is correct, as is LK8000. |
