Ciao Aldo As a biker, I believe that motorcycles have a different need: In a motorbike we have a limited field by the helmet and we don't look through the windshield. Anyway, I believe that projected systems are made to have simple and reduced information, not a moving map. But I believe that we can have a limited choice with this operating system. New Verticas may come, lets see how they run. But will be the whole platform dependent of one external developer, or second hand units? For the moment I fly with 2 units: 1 old M400 for the moving map and an Android phone for live tracking. Glider computer manufacturers have also developed their own software on Linux, like LX Navigation. LX Minimap is no longer at the list. Naviter goes on with CE, but as a global product: HW, SW and certified logger. Not dependending on third part. |
