se cerchi sul mulo trovi un suo video della bbc di programma intero con atterraggio ad entrambi i motori spenti con rullaggio ed arrivo davanti alla platea a motori spenti. Oppure puoi cercare il dvd "the bob hoover aerial suite - an aerobatic music dvd" della flyright productions...

Questo ha delle controp***e d'assalto!

Ha un eleganza nell'effettuare le manovre che fa sembrare quel goffo bimotore un aliante da acrobazia pilotato da un ottimo pilota.

E' un grande Bob Hover!

Nel libro di Chuck Yeager (uno dei più belli che abbia mai letto e che custodisco gelosamente) "Vivere per Volare", vengono raccontati un sacco di aneddoti e storie su questi due "miti" del volo...GRANDI!

Ah dimenticavo....è della classe del 22...

Bob Hoover doveva essere il pilota dell'X1.
Poi qualche giorno prima del volo storico qualcuno lo sfidò a fare la barba alla torre di controllo, al comandante della base non piacque e gli disse che non era affidabile e che dava il posto a Chuck Yaeger.
Da quel momento lui: (cito da un racconto di Hoover) "flew chase of that S.o.B. ever since ..."
