Has anyone got any ideas please? I haven't flown this glider for quite a few months until the last 2 weeks, and I seem to keep losing Flarm and Traffic on Map, and yes it is switched ON. My setup. which has worked for several years and is unchanged, is: Classic Flarm connected to a Soartronic BT1. This sends data to LK8000 on the Nokia 8 using BT. Thè BT1 connects by cable to an LX 4 way splitter. One cable than feeds an LX LED+ display, and there is another cable to the SN10b vario. One port on the splitter is unused. The Flarm and display seem to work exactly as they should, but the connection to LK8000 seems less stable than it should be. Device configutration is Generic and Port Soartronic, Serial Mode Normal and Device Nokia 500, which is the nearest I can find. |

Hi Dave, assuming the FLARM is OK, did you try Flarm an BT only (without the 4 way splitter)? Are you able to decleare a task or trigger a reset of the Flarm by LK8000? (checking the bi directional communication) If nothing helps, please make an NMEA log of your Flarm, so we can see if the data is comming correctly. (only Flarm without any other device

Hi Alpha Lima, long time no see, hope you and the family are well. It worked today after I did a Comm reset, traffic was showing on the map. LK doesn't seem to be giving priority to Flarm, but stays with the internal gps unless forced by the reset. However, when I tried to download the file from Flarm into LK8000, the Conf button appeared, but would not connect saying that there was No Flarm device found. |
