After installing everything exactly as explained in the manuals i only get "GPS: No Data Rx" on my kobo instead of the gps data.

I additionally tried the newest beta h version to the 6.0.

When i enter the device setup in LK8000 i am not offered the port /dev/ttyACM0, that is described in the leGpsBip manual. Only ports /dev/ttymxc0, /dev/ttyp0, /dev/ttyp1, /dev/ttyp2, /dev/ttyp3, tcpclient, tcpserver and udpserver.

two important point of manual :

Yes definitely. 6.0 and 6.1h both say usb host kernel on startup.

so the problem is other...

do you use Y cable and external power ?
do you have enabled USB connectivity and Kobo compatbility in GPSBip configurator ?


I fly with exactly same config of your's without any problem, so we can solve the problem ;-)

No external power. Just using the connector, that was delivered with the leGPSBip. Yes i enabled both and have overwritten the config file on the leGPSBip. It is running on software version 2017-04-24.
