You can tell from this that the weather is pretty bad over here. If I replay an igc file, logged by LK8000, using IGC Flight Replay, with a PNA running LK8000 connected, I cannot get the altitudes to show correctly in LK8000 Even though starting from home airfield which is in the database of course, QFE readout is the same as gps height, when it should be 0, and HBAR does not show at all. IGC Flight Replay has QFE correctly as 0. Any ideas please |

IGC file Replay generate NMEA stream, so on LK8000 Side it's exectly same a real GPS ...
so probably something is wrong in NMEA stream send by IGC file Replay. do NMEA log and check NMEA sentence, i think you will see where is the problem ... |

That is what I thought. Just run through a flight, the only sentences sent by GFR were GPGGA and GPRMC. Use Pressure Altitude was ticked. GPGGA is of course giving gps altitude. The corresponding igc log file gives exactly the same altitude at the same time stamp. So, GFR is not sending pressure altitude. LK8000 is not automatically adjusting QFE to 0. |

Oops! Sorted the QFE by using the Zero QFE button. Had forgotten about it, because never have to use it in real life. |
