For post flight analysis(! :-) ) purposes it could helpful to have the thermals history as logged file (date, time, location, averaged lift). What do you think? (IMHO that is not so a big effort).
ernst - Wouldn't it be better to simply use a post-flight analysis tool for this? Systems like SeeYou and IGC Flight Replay already detect where the thermals were that you took, what your achieved climb-rate was, etc.
What would LK8000 provide that these tools cannot?
Yes of course we can use these tools... but we already have NOW in LK a prepared table with the thermals history, it only needs to be written in an ASCII-file, that was it.
