Ho all,
On page Device Configuration I do not have option Ext.Sound . What do I have to enable?(Kobo glo, bluefly vario, latest beta version of Lk8000).

I also have problem with sound :(
I am put SOUND_TABLE.TXT in the /_configuration folder
I am see Ext. sound to ON
I don`t have ...Cannot load conversion sound table file for external sound : /mnt/onboard/LK8000/_Configuration/SOUND_TABLE.TXT in the runtime.log
What can be a problem? :( |

The name must be SOUND_TABLE.TXT . Not SOUND_TABLE.txt or anything else.

Well, I also look at the problem, as I also have it.
It seems that the mechanism used to send sound is still working, but maybe the sentence is not finally sent to sound device?
I say that because:
1) it works well for me in debug until writing to sound device. I can't test in real sending sound on the serial port
2) I see no modification on external sound mechanism, but many on serial port. And I guess it's the only functionality sending something on sound device port
So I'm afraid, same conclusion, waiting for Bruno...
But don't forget, you have to test in fly mode, not in simulation mode, as in simulation mode there are no communication with GPS/Baro/sound device |

I am adding another external sound device, soon available, so I am checking tonight why this one is not working.

| Aleksandar sent me his SOUND_TABLE.TXT file and I had a quick look. To use the LK8000 with the BlueFly and have sounds working you need to use BSD commands. See the post from Arciendo in this thread on 24 Nov 2015 for some examples. The BlueFlyVario hardware settings manual has a full description of the BSD command. |

My problem is is been on the SOUND_TABLE.TXT
Now is time to play with options, and make best option for every LK8000 sound command :) |
