Hi All !
I am trying to run LK8000 for the first time on my HX4700. I get an error saying: 'LK8000 CANNOT WRITE IN MEMORY CARD! CARD IS LOCKED, OR DAMAGED, OR FULL.'
I've formatted it once and tried again with the same result. The card is a 250MB card with 184MB free memory.
So I suspect the problem lies elsewhere. I've tried the write-protection switch, but still with the same problems.
Any ideas anyone ? |

| How did you put LK8000 on to the card? I seem to remember from the early days, that if you did it using Active Sync, or by some other means with the card in the device, there could be problems. Try starting again, copying directly on to the card using a card reader. Then insert the card in to the 4700. Also are you using the correct executable? Some 4700 use 2002 and some 2003. Finally, and this came up only a day or two ago in another thread, make sure that there is only one LK8000 folder at the top level of your card, with all the other files and folders within it. Your card is plenty big enough, depending on data, it only uses about 60mb |

Ignore this. :-)
After searching for some other search strings I found the topic discussing this previously. I had forgotten to include the folder LK8000. Now running. :-) |

Good old HX4700.. used it a lot when I started with SeeYouMobile in 2006 or something that was.. Used it shortly (only testing really, during winter 2010/2011) with LK8000, when I got my HTC HD2 Smartphone, spring 2011, I stopped using the HX4700, the phone was so much better in the sun! BUT I think after so many years of use in full bright for hours on end.. the display lost quite a bit of its original brightness, so I hope you have a better one :)
When it was still new back in 2004-2005, it was advertised as one of the best PDA's for in the cockpit because of its "stunningly" bright and sharp display :) |

Hi Marco! Any hints as to how one disables the command bar at the bottom of the screen ? It now covers the menu button at the lower right corner..... Hence, I can't end LK8000. |
