 Mio M500 - No Data Rx or GPS data error		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

Hello

Just unlocked Mio Moov M500 (using M400 procedure) and everything seems to be working, except for ... GPS. I set up COMM 2, 57600 and 8 bit and I'm getting error message "GPS: No Data Rx". When I'm choosing different baudrate I'm getting error "GPS data error".

Plese help!

It took me a half of the day to figure that out. I will publish solution here, maybe someone will use in the future.
The issue was that GPS unit was using SIRF protocol and LK8000 didn't like it. I followed suggestions from below forum

installed SirfTech and forced NMEA mode.

Everything works perfect now!
