As you can see there is strange dashed black line going to ESE direction to right edge of the screen. It shows in upper-right corner when task is started and rotates to SE until it dissapeares. This is screenshot from clean 3.1e LK8000 install.
In my config and map this line stays longer, it does not dissapear.

Here is how to reproduce this (BUG?):
1. Clean 3.1e install
2. start PC SIM mode
3. Nav 2/3 > Edit Task > Create new AAT task with these TPs:

Kong (line, 5km wide)
Orio (cylinder 10km)
Locarno Gld (cyl 12km)
Kong (line, 5km

Advance mode is ARM

4. Take off to NW direction, Nav > Advance Start, turn to start, Gain about 3000m and Start task
5. Map zoom is about 7.5km
6. As task is started this line should appear

I can confirm that this happens on my MIO M400 also.
Anybody?

I think it is a bug from the paragliding optimized route made by bruno.

Hi, I have reported on this previously, but Im pretty sure this has nothing to do with the route optimization. On the contrary I think It is an old AAT artefact. If someone has the time, please check an old installation. I can try to find my old posts on this topic.

Would be nice to get it out of the system soon! :-)

EDIT: Here it is:

http://www.postfrontal.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5937

I think this has also been reported earlier than this, but not sure if I can find it now.

EDIT 2: Ok, here is some pretty conclusive evidence that the artefact has nothing to do with Brunos work:

http://picasaweb.google.com/bjorn.haugsgjerd/ScreenshotsLK8000#5398771686403006722

The "dashes" are visible radiating from the glider trough the <<73degree arrows.

The above is a screenshot i made in 2009/2010, apparently from version 1.19 or thereabout, posted here (on another topic)

On 2.2e we didn't had Optimize Route for paragliding, so is not a bug from Bruno :)
