LK8000 is really great.
But too much information may kill information. I personally selected 3 screens : the map, the airfields, the personnal data. All others screens are hidden.
I tried to organize the personnal data with some kind of logic, e.g.: all efficiencies on the same line, wind is the left top corner, etc... But I think the readability could be greatly improved if the backgrounds could be colored as a function of the type of data : color 1 for the wind, color 2 for the efficiencies, color 3 for the home distance and bearing, color 4 for the altitudes, etc...
As an instructor, I am seeing more and more new pilots having PNAs, and I am concerned by the time they spend to seek the right information.
