Hello,

I tryed to configure my own polar with editing a existing polar-file and than saving as new file with .prl extension, which actually didn't work out so far.
Which program I have to use to edit correctly (Editor etc.)? and how can I save the fil with extension .prl properly. When I tryed to create my own file, I edited with Editor under Windows 7 but than couldn't save as .prl ,only as .txt extension, which doesn't work I guess.

As I am not really an IT-Freak, I would be more than happy to get some help from the LK8000 comunity. I use the paragliding modus and a Medion GOPAL 3767 advice.

Thanks Tobi

Hello Tobi,
you are on the right way. The editor under WIN7 should be right. Save the file, you will get polar.txt, then rename polar.txt to polar.plr (not "prl" as you wrote!). Ignore the WIN7-system-warning when changing the extension from "txt" to "plr".
I tried it out by opening a polar-file, simulating editing, saving under a new name; the binary compare found "files are identical".
Hope I could help you. :-)
