Hello, I'm interested to holux 61cs connected directly rs232 to a cai302. What are news about connection (imput/output) using rs232? For your opinion is possible send to rs232 connection the data of cai302 and to usb the flarm informations using 2 different com ports on LK8000 installed on this device?
Thanks |

| Is Holux 61cs affected by the faulty GPS? I see that it has Atlas chipset |

| No, it is not affected. I have flown with it. Neither Funtrek nor Delta 61 have the problem. |

| I can also confirm that the Holux 61CS has no problems, I have used twice now and I am very happy with the results and how the screen works in the sunshine |

May I ask why FT130 instead of 61CS? Is it for the longer battery duration?
Also a question for Wolf: is it feasible to completely turn off becklighting on teh 61CS? How long would the battery last in such a state? |

Yes, it is possible, basically, in WinCE settings. But screan readability become lower.... and lower . I can ask my electronic technician to make some consumption measurements. Use in sailplanes should be without any problem, by my opinion, if your one is equipped with regular battery, because part of delivery is recharging cable with 12/5V converter. |

The 61 screen is a Casio Blanview, Berto. You can read about it on the Internet. It does need some backlighting, because with no backlight it is hardly readable.
