In the Waypoints-bitmap-folder you do however provide bitmaps for thermals.
Is there a way to insert predefined thermal-locations as a waypoint with your specific thermal-icon?

No. Those are the thermals detected in flight, and they appear in page 3.3.
You cannot change or add yours, in there.

But I can quickly add two more icons.
One for style 10 "ndb", same bitmap as in seeyou.
And another one for another style not-compatible with seeyou, using the thermal bitmap.
Since these addons are not critical, I can do this last minute change.
I may use style 20, but have to check.

Well, I can only be very grateful! I've been following past releases, week by week.
You're all just doing an amazing job. Big Thanks for that.

What I also thought about, it might be interesting to add a field in the waypoint-details,
pointing out what kind it is, potentially allowing to change the type?

Hi,

I'm looking for an easy way to manage and edit waypoints in LK8000 (cup-files). I came across your solution in EXCEL but this doesn't work. When I save a file as *.csv and rename it as *.cup, the items are separated by semicolon (;). This type of separation cannot be used in cup-files (LK8000 doesn't recognize it). Is there a setting in EXCEL (OFFICE 2007) that will seperate the items by a comma (instead of semicolon) when I rename a csv-file?
I know that cup-files can be edited in SEEYOU and the Windows TXT-editor, but I prefer EXCEL if this is possible.

Hey!

I highly recommend GPSDUMP. I've had some issues with gpsbabel before I knew this one. It's an ugly little program but you just can't find any better!
