Does anyone know of a converter to translate .kml files into one of the LK8000 readable waypoint file formats?

GPSBabel worked like a charm to convert .KML to .CUP and .DAT (I haven't tested CompeGPS yet)

G7toWin also works, used it for years to convert garmin log files to IGC files so I could upload to OLC.. KML is one of the many extensions to convert to.

Hi Coolwind,
I can't convert waypoints files taken from google earth (.kml) to seeyou (.cup)with Gpsbabel.
I get an empty file with the fields titles only like this
"name,code,country,lat,lon,elev,style,rwdir,rwlen,freq,desc
-----Related Tasks-----"
Is there a parameters question ?
Could you help me ?

for convert Waypoint file to cup file don't forget to set Type of Data you want to convert ( Waypoint / Track / Route ).
if you convert KML waypoint file to task Cup file you have an empty file. |
