Hallo zusammen, meinen LK8000 Installationen ist es nicht gelungen die vom LX5000R durchgeschleiften $PFLAx Daten zu erkennen und die mit Flarm-Daten zusammenhängenden Info Seiten freizugeben. Könnte das mit dem fehlenden $GPRMZ zusammenhängen? - Grundsätzlich muss das ja eigentlich möglich sein, weil GPSlog mit den gleichen Daten auf Flarm in Reichweite reagiert.

mit deinem Workarround wurde Flarm im LX5K_R Datenstrom erkannt.
Klasse gemacht!

In der Zwischenzeit, kannst du als Workarround die Checksummenprüfung abschalten.
entweder in der
Config Page 24 Engineering "NMEA Checksum", deaktivieren
Um diese "Experten" Seite zu aktivieren ggf. auf Config Page 22 "Engineering Menue" aktivieren und neu starten.

oder dazu im File:

_Configuration\DEFAULT_DEVICE.dvc
den Einrag:
CheckSum1=1
auf
CheckSum1=0
ändern.

Ups!
Die Datensätze
$PFLAU,1,1,1,1,0,,0,,,*4e
werden wegen falscher Checksumme abgelehnt.
Dies liegt daran, dass das Checksummen als Hex Zahlen übertragen werden.
Das LX5000R benutzt im Hex Format Kleinbuchstaben (4e statt 4E). Dies ist nicht unbedingt falsch aber absolut unüblich.
Das gilt nicht nur für die Flarmdatensätze sondern für alle Datensätze deren hexadzimal Checksummen Buchstaben enthalten. Also bitte auf keinen Fall in der Konfiguration damit fliegen.

Ist bereits für die nächste Version gefixt!

Hallo AL,
ich kann im LX5KR nur $PFLAX aktivieren, zusätzlich noch den WP Datensatz, sowie z.B. ..RMC, ..GGA..
siehe folgenden Text, den ich mit einem IPAQ3870 mitPPC2003 LK version 6.0a aufgenommen habe, mit "LX"-Treiber - Ballastveränderungen wurden von LK8K berücksichtigt :-), Flarm leider nicht erkannt. Nach Umschalten auf reines Flarmsignal funktionierten die Flarmfunktionen wie sie sollen.

Nimmt das LX den Datensatz selbst raus?
Kann man das wieder einschalten?
LK hat eine Baro Priorisierung, d.h. bei unterschiedlichen verfügbaren Barohöhen wird die höchst priorisierte genommen. Die allerhöchst priorisierte ist die Flarm Baro Höhe(weil größter gemeinsamer Nenner).
Beim Generic Treiber würde die LX Baro dann auch nicht ausgewerte, da der dafür keine Parser hat, die Flarm Baro schon.

Also Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, LK kommt mit unterschiedlichen Baro-Höhen zur gleichen Zeit zurecht. Ein eigener Mix, kann funktionieren, muss aber nicht!

Das dürfte aber auch nicht das beschriebene Fehlerbild zeigen.
Wenn der fehlende $GPRMZ Datensatz aber wirklich der einzige Unterschied ist, wird es wohl daran liegen.

Schick auch mal bitte das runtime.log. Darin steht dann welche Höhe benutzt wird.

das sind recht wenig Infos, daher ein Paar Fragen:
Welchen PNA nutzt du? ---HP314, Mio400, IPAQ3650, 3850, 3870, 3970
Welchen Treiber nutzt du? ---generic und alles was sich wie LX las
Welche LK Version nutzt du? ---die letzten jeweils auf den Geräten lauffähigen Versionen
Wie ist der PNA angebunden? ---am PDA/PNA Ausgang vom LX5000R (entspr. LX7007C)- keine Flarmerkennung durch LK8K (jedoch durch GPS_log und XCS), direkt am Flarm funktionierts
LX5000R->LK8000 Baudrate >= 19200Bd?---richtig
COM und Baudrate richtig eingestellt---ja
NMEA Daten + $PFLA im Terminal Fenster sichtbar?---ja
Bekommst du die GPS Position wirklich vom LX5000 (und nicht evtl. vom internen GPS Fallback)? ---ja, bei den PDA´s gibt´s kein GPS
Ohne $GPRMZ (= Höhe) müsste LK zwar theoretisch funktionieren, aber ohne Höhe macht eine Flugcomputer keinen Sinn. Warum fehlen die $GPRMZ Sätze? ---Die Barohöhe kommt aus dem WP Datensatz des LK5000R
Am Besten du loggst mal den NMEA Stream und postest den. (Config 2/3 - NMEA Logger, die Text-Logfiles findest du im _Logger Verzeichnis und hat das Format NMEA??????.txt) -- --das probier ich wenn ich mal wieder am Flieger bin.

Bekommst du die GPS Position wirklich vom LX5000 (und nicht evtl. vom internen GPS Fallback)?
Ohne $GPRMZ (= Höhe) müsste LK zwar theoretisch funktionieren, aber ohne Höhe macht eine Flugcomputer keinen Sinn. Warum fehlen die $GPRMZ Sätze?
Am Besten du loggst mal den NMEA Stream und postest den. (Config 2/3 - NMEA Logger, die Text-Logfiles findest du im _Logger Verzeichnis und hat das Format NMEA??????.txt)
